This house was built in 1948, and is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Designed by Mexican architect Luis Barragán. It is a synthesis between the modern and the traditional.
COLOR
The main thing we can see is the great way that Barragán has to use color in this construction,
I find it very interesting that, to realize that there are so many colors, at no time does it feel overloaded or overwhelming.
LIGHT
It is no secret that like color, light plays a very large role in Barragán’s work,
Light produces calm, serenity and tranquility, something that, in later practices I have mentioned, is very important for this architect.
